The Celtic-Plus Event 2016 was held on 28-29 April 2016 in Stockholm, Sweden.
The event was co-located with the EUREKA Innovation Week 2016, organised and hosted by the Swedish EUREKA Chairmanship at the Stockholm City Conference Centre.

The event included a session on innovative project ideas, where experts from the ICT community discuss emerging R&D needs and proposals for related collaborative projects. Results of about 15 commercially important Celtic-Plus projects are presented in presentations and at the related exhibition. The prototypes evolving from these projects allow you to experience in an interactive and playful way the technological progress made in those projects.
Experts and representatives from national governments explained their research agendas and the opportunities for public funding.
Every year Celtic-Plus selects the three best rated Celtic-Plus projects for the Celtic Excellence Awards and the Celtic Innovation Awards. At the event the winners had been announced and celebrated.
