4th International Software Days in Vienna from April 25-26, 2017 https://www.b2match.eu/softwaredays2017 represents a perfect playground for companies (industry and SMEs) to develop a strong international network for technology transfer and research cooperation. The organisers are expecting approximately 500 visitors like in 2015, about two thirds of them from abroad. The event will offer inspiring keynotes, bilateral speed dating, investor pitches, workshops on internationalization and financing, an exhibition and last but not least an Open Space for developing R&D projects within the framework of EUREKA (www.eurekanetwork.org).

EUREKA Open Space is a full-day event, offering some insights on the opportunities of the Eureka Network at the beginning, followed by project pitches for collaboration (at least 20 projects shall be presented) and at the end of the event a short presentation on how to write a good proposal.

The focus will be on the following topics:

• Internet of Things
• Data Driven Business
• Driverless Transportation
• Intelligent Energy Networks

This selection represents Austria’s strength in the field of ICT which aligns well with Canada’s strengths.
