CELTIC at the 2017 Canadian Telecom Summit
Canada is one of the EUREKA countries participating in Celtic-Plus. Representatives of the Canadian Public Authority are regularly speaking at the Celtic-Plus Events. Celtic-Plus Chairman Jacques Magen was invited to speak at the 2017 Canadian Telecom Summit in Toronto on 5-7 June 2017. The theme of the event was “Competition, Investment and Innovation: Driving Canada’s Digital Future”.

On Thursday, 7 June, Jacques Magen participated in a panel on “disruptive innovation”. In his statement, he stressed the importance of global cooperation in the research & innovation domain and supported more collaboration between Europe and Canada in telecommunications.
